New Years Weight Loss

Why did I write a New Years weight loss blog post late?

I wanted to embrace my goals, not resolutions, for the New Year.

Weight loss is not a simple task. Losing weight and fat and defeating obesity will be accomplished this this year.

We are starting a New Years Weight Loss Revolution! No longer are we going to be making New Years Years resolutions, but we are making New Years REVOLUTIONS! If you are like me then you really hate New Years resolutions. You pick a resolution, promise to be better, and then you fall flat. We are going to avoid that and take you right to the New Years Weight Loss Revolution. We are excited to give you something that will boost not only your weight loss, but your life too.

1. Stop Making Resolutions
Stop making promises and resolutions that will never come to anything. Stop making them to your family and friends and then dumping on them a day or two later. You don't help yourself at all.

2. Watch What You Eat
Watch what you eat. By watching what you eat, you will gain control over the most overlooked part of weight loss. Eating is something that a lot of people do for the pleasure of eating. We are going to eat, purely to sustain ourselves, and then stop before the weight packs on.

3. Implement the ETL Diet
The ETL Diet is one of the easiest diet, if not THE easiest! Where can you get this diet? Right here! The elements are easy enough for anyone to do and they are healthy and quick.

4. Exercise Like Crazy
We are going to exercise like CRAZY during this revolution. Please understand that you don't lose weight unless you work out and burn more calories than you take in.

5. Get the Results
This revolution that we are starting is sure to get you going and will be a sure fire guarantee to get you to lose that weight. You will see more results in a shorter amount of time by joining us on this revolution.

REVOLUTION PLEDGE

1. I will not quit.
2. I will not be one to brag about my results and boast about them over my friends and family.
3. I know that this is not for the faint of heart and that I will be losing a LOT of weight over the next few months.

REVOLUTION IS MINE

How are we going to execute the revolution?

1. Strive for Weight Loss Perfection
2. Be Okay with How Much weight you lose and how fast you lose it.
3. Encourage Each Other
4. Challenge a Friend

If you want to join us merely comment with your first name and why you want to lose weight.
Weight loss, fat, obesity, and our goals are going to be defeated.
I will be next to you every step of the way.
Together you and I will lose weight and get our six pack or better body.

Start Your Weight Loss Fresh for New Years

It's been said many times that we are going to set New Year's resolutions to lose weight, lose the muffin top, lose the extra weight, stop eating so much, and on and on and on. Little do we know that we fail to take into account the lack of control, discipline, knowledge, and strength to keep going in our weight loss, even after the first few days or weeks of our year. Start your year off fresh. Here are 3 powerful steps to solidifying weight loss for the beginner, the intermediate and the pro.

1. Knowledge
The first step to solidifying your weight loss is to gain the knowledge about what type of weight loss you are going to try to accomplish. You may be a pro at losing weight (have lost weight and know the general gist of things), or you may be a complete and utter beginner. Either way, you have to know your enemy to defeat your enemy. As the years go by things change; something that may have worked last year might not work this year. Get the 411 on the weight loss program of your choice!

2. Strategy
Along with the first step comes the second step, and the second step is to know the strategy for the previously gained knowledge. You have to know what you're going to be doing (knowledge), and you have to know the strategy (plans and means to carry out the prescribed knowledge), and you come out on the other side with the correct formula to then commence and be successful in solidifying your weight loss.

3. Execution
The last key and part to solidifying your weight loss is the execution. In order to solidify the overall weight loss you have to gain the knowledge of the weight loss program, make a strategy or study strategies to get you to the end result, and last but not least, you then execute that strategy. By executing the above strategy that was made doable by the knowledge about what you're doing, you find yourself solidifying your weight loss and succeeding in your weight loss!

You will find these to be 3 of the most powerful weight loss tips you will ever read about in your life! They are simple, to the point, and are very easy to implement in your own life. If you want to solidify your weight loss in the coming New Year, follow these simple steps to the weight loss that will change your life forever! Let 2016 be the New Year where your resolutions are absolutely and chaotically obliterated! Go and get it!!!

Happy New Year!

New Year's Resolutions...Set it Now?

My question to you is, "Why don't we get started on New Year's resolutions now?" It would make perfect sense, wouldn't it? We always set a resolution at the beginning of the year, and we normally don't have time to get it accomplished. So, by offsetting the resolution making, you give yourself enough time to accomplish the resolution. We are going to talk about some tips for smashing your New Year's resolution in the mouth and get er' done! Let's go!

1. Smaller Plates
-Using smaller plates allows you to see what exactly your eating. We often eat with huge plates and we find ourselves going back for seconds when in fact we are eating thirds and fourths.
-Smaller plates for the holidays will allow you to eat a little bit of everything in moderation; a little bit of turkey, cranberry sauce, maybe a roll, you get the point.

2. Get Up
-If you get up in the morning and have breakfast instead of sleeping in, then your metabolism starts early and you will find it easier to maintain that metabolism.
-Getting up off the couch will allow the blood to flow and will help your metabolism kick into gear even more.

3. Cut Sugar in Half
-Cutting the sugar in half will more than double your fat loss because sugar enters the bloodstream and goes straight to creating fat.
-In addition, sugar is what feeds cancer cells and makes your body vulnerable to being sick and unhealthily overweight.

4. Cheat
-Cheat? I thought we were supposed to be doing good, not bad? Cheating, or rewarding yourself for doing good in your diet will allow your body to take pride in your work at losing weight.
-Your mind will quickly perk up when it is rewarded for keeping your body on the straight and narrow.

5. 4-6 Smaller Meals
-Eating 4-6 smaller meals allows your metabolism to go bonkers because by the time your food from one meal is done digesting, your stomach will have something else to digest.
-Save 1 big meal for dinner and make the other ones smaller.

6. Don't Watch TV
-Watching TV allows for you to see all of the cooking shows and commercials that come with watching TV in general. The first thing to come on a commercial is food.
-Getting off of the tube will allow you to work out and burn some calories as well.

7. Stop Lying to Yourself
-When we are in dieting or weight loss mode, we often lie to ourselves saying, "Oh, well those extra calories don't count for much, I'll eat it anyways." You are only cheating yourself.
-Be honest with yourself. When you do, you will not feel guilty and like eating.

8. Be Self Conscious
-Being self conscious is the feeling you get when you feel like, "a bug in a jar." Make yourself feel guilty when you eat bad and don't do it again.
-Guiltiness is not bad, it means that you care enough to do it right!

9. Set Reasonable Resolutions NOW!
Now that we have talked about some tips on how to accomplish the New Year's resolution, let's talk about setting them. Set the resolutions now. Procrastination now will only lead to procrastinating on your weight loss or diet in the future. Take action and go out and conquer the world. Get the beach body that you deserve. You deserve to look good and feel good, and to be able to look in the mirror and say, "I am beautiful," or, "I am handsome!" You need to put the footsteps to your words about wanting it, you have to just do it.

10. Conquer Them Early
My last point in this blog post is to conquer the resolutions early. As I alluded to earlier in the post, you will procrastinate on the dieting or weight loss if you procrastinate in making the resolution now. Write it down on a piece of paper and post it to the wall that you will see every day multiple times a day. I would suggest putting it in the kitchen! By seeing the resolution, you trick your mind into constantly wanting to accomplish it. This works!

I want to wish you all a great day and I hope that you guys take into account what we have talked about with making the resolutions now. I have given you the gun, the ammo, and have set you on the right path. If you stick to these tips, you can't go wrong in your weight loss and dieting endeavors. If your still not convinced that you should make your New Year's resolution now, think about this question, "Why do I want to diet or lose weight?" It will be a surefire way to respond with making a resolution.

Here's to your success!

New Year's Resolutions, Finish STRONG!

Have you ever made a New Year's resolution only to break it later and feel bad about it? You are not alone! We all have done this at one point in our lives. The point that we need to remember is the fact that we have over two months to get a huge chunk of those resolutions accomplished. We can do it, you and I. We just need to push a little harder. We might not be able to fully accomplish these resolutions, but we can and will be able to accomplish something in the mean time. How can we accomplish and achieve these resolutions? Let's get started!

1. Rewind
The first step that we need to take in order to recover our New Year's resolutions is to rewind back to the time when we first made the resolution. We need to go to that time when we first thought to make the resolution. Why were you going to make it? What made you think to make it? And, what were your goals when you were going to make the resolution? Were you drinking beer by the tonnage during a New Year's party? If so, you may want to think about how applicable your resolution was.

2. Rethink
The second step has already been touched on. Rethink your resolution and what it is that you resolved to do. If you were looking at a famous weight loss guru such as Shaun T and thought, "I'm going to resolve to look like that," then you may want to rethink your choice of resolution. Resolve to lose ten pounds before the year is out. You may be able to attain that resolution quicker and within a short amount of time.

3. Resolve
Resolve to do what you want to resolve to do. If you don't accomplish your resolution, then you may feel like you're a failure. You're not going to want to make a resolution next year if you don't accomplish it. Attaining your resolution is like keeping your promise to yourself. If you don't it's like you're lying to yourself. No one likes to be lied to. If you make a smaller resolution, then you can actually accomplish it. Go!

"If you make a smaller resolution, then you can actually accomplish it. Go!" [Click to tweet!]

Tips for Weight Loss during the Holidays!

1. Less Sugar
Eating less sugar will ensure that you will lose more weight quicker than you normally would. You don't have to cut out sugar altogether, but just cut it back.

2. Morning Jog
Instead of going to the office or your job and sitting there with a slow metabolism, go for a jog and get your metabolism going early to help your weight loss. You will find as well that you will have greater energy in your day, even when we fall back an hour.

3. Watch What You Eat
Most of the time we don't pay attention to what we are eating. If we watch what we are eating and consciously eat less and better foods, then we can lose weight during the holidays.

4. New Exercises!
Take up a new exercise or exercise set, then you can have a greater impact on your weight loss because you keep your mind interested in what you are doing. Take up golfing and walk the whole course, or take up playing a new sport.

5. Alternatives to Old Habits
Find new alternatives to your old habits. If you know that there is going to be candy in your office, then take a sweet granola bar with you to have an alternative. If you know that your mom is going to bring a sweet pie to thanksgiving dinner, then make something that is better for you.

We have looked at our New Year's resolutions and some ways to help you guys get started! I hope that you guys get going on your resolution and accomplish them. They are really important to life and help when you can get something done. Grab the bull by the horns and get going. If you guys need help with making your resolution, then check out this link. Is the ETL Diet the Best Diet? You Decide!

So, I was sitting down and thinking one day. I was thinking about what all the diets have in common. All of the diets have one thing in common, it is that diets are normally keeping track of calories or keeping track of stuff. It is a pain to keep track of stuff and I was sick of it. I have come up with a diet that only keeps track of what you eat, not the calories, not the fat, just the substance of what you eat. There is no writing down anything, just thinking and a little bit of common sense. Let's get started!

ETL Diet
The ETL Diet stands for the Easier Than Life Diet. This diet is easier than life, quite literally! The thing that makes it easy is that anyone can do it and it is going to revolutionize the diet and weight loss industry. The thing that the weight loss industry doesn't want you to know is that you actually have a good chance of GAINING weight on their diet program rather than LOSING weight. Why is that? It is for the sheer fact that people don't want to keep track of EVERYTHING they eat. They don't want to do the point trackers, journals, shakes, and other malarkey tricks and shenanigans to try to lose weight. It is very expensive and time consuming to lose weight. Not on the ETL diet!

1. What Goes in Must Come Out
What goes in must come out. When you eat junk food, you are going to find that you don't feel good. Why do you think you feel bad when you eat McDonalds or other fast foods? It is because you eat GMO foods and straight hormones and chemicals. When you eat what is good for you, then you will feel better and feel good. Your body will naturally feel better when you begin to eat better. When you eat fruits and vegatables, your body consumes what we would like to call, "healthy fuels." These healthy fuels convert to feeling better.

2. Watch What You Eat
All you have to watch with the ETL Diet is what you eat. As with the first point, all you have to do is eat better. If what you are planning on eating is not good for you, then you don't eat it. There is no keeping track of calories, carbs, or little meaningless things like that. All you have to do is make common sense decisions on eating good food, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, and stay away from sugar, candy, and soda. It is that easy!
Good food (fruits and vegetables) + Common Sense (thinking about what is good for you) = something you should eat

3. Exercise
Exercising with the ETL Diet is this easy. All you have to do is exercise for 5 days a week at an 1 hour a day. With this diet you do cardio exercises, aerobics, weight lifting, martial arts, or bodybuilding. You may choose from these choices. Running falls under aerobics and is considered the best by most beginning dieters. Running at 4+ MPH is the best to start with. 5 days of exercise a week for 1 hour a day is easy. You get two days off and it makes it Easier Than Life. If you want to exercise for more hours on one of the days to compensate for other days in the week, you can do that too.

4. Share It With Friends
We are trying to go viral and we may write a book laying out our diet if we can get enough people to get on board. I have lost weight in doing this. I went from 225 LB. to 180 LB. in a few short months. It was that easy. There was no hassles of starving, no keeping track of stuff, no nothing. I know what it is like to do the point trackers, the shakes, the junk and spending too much money and time on it. All you have to do it think about what you eat, exercise, and live your life!

We have come to the next year and I want to encourage you to keep your New Year's resolutions! I urge you to keep going and lose that weight. As we are trying to finish up January, I am challenging you guys to beat those fitness, weight loss, weight lifting, and bodybuilding goals to get to that beach body you deserve!

Take the Bull...New Years Resolutions...NOT TOO LATE!!!

We have all had our good and bad years. 2013 feels like it has been a bad one for me. I am a college student that is in a computer program. I don't always get out of the house to work out and work on my weight loss. I was playing Ultimate Frisbee and I got dumped on my head when I jumped for a pass. My shoulder and neck have been relatively disabled for about a week. Before I got hurt I was doing 100 push-ups a day in one sitting and I was doing 100 kettlebell swings. 2013 has just been yucky. I am proposing that we put all of these bad things that have happened in 2013 behind us, and that we take the bull by the horns! Let's do this!

1. Make New Years Resolutions that are Attainable
Make New Years resolutions that are attainable. The worst thing that we do when we make New Years resolutions is making resolutions that are not attainable. Make small goals and resolutions. We call these micro-resolutions. Make a bunch of micro-resolutions that are attainable and you will see more of your goals being met and accomplished.

2. Stop Making Excuses
We are going to stop making excuses in 2014. Successful people do not make excuses, successful people get past the excuses and get results. Make results, not excuses!

3. Tomorrow is NOT the best day to start a diet!
This tip coincides with the second one. Tomorrow is not the best day to start a diet. If we keep thinking that tomorrow is the best day to start a diet, we will never start our diet! Choose to start your diet and trudge through and make the best of it. Yeah, diets stink! I know that you want to eat your favorite foods and splurge, but we can't do this with our New Years Resolutions.

4. Start Off Slow
If you are someone that can't stop doing something cold turkey and begin something immediately, then you can start slow and work your way up. Most people have to start off slow. If we start off slow, then it will give us room to grow and expand. I am someone that can quit cold turkey and am someone that is all or nothing. If I start something, I START something! I encourage you to go hard or go home!

5. Take the Bull By the Horns!
Stop running from the bull that is staring you in your face. The bull may be chocolate, your workout machine, or any other crutch. Choose a crutch (something that gives you pleasure that you rely on and can't live without) and give it up for six months. By then you should be in full weight loss gear and you will not miss it much. By taking that bull by the horns you inspire and empower yourself to follow through with your weight loss. Take it from someone that knows!

I encourage you to take pictures of what you look like before the New Years resolutions and have a picture of a famous actor and actress that is your goal of what you want to look at! Shoot for those small goals and grab 2014 by the horns! I inspire you...conquer your weight loss and obesity TODAY!
