7 Natural Remedies for Crushing Diabetes
1. Cinnamon
Cinnamon was the best thing that I could have done for my per-diabetic state and I found a tea that was absolutely delightful. Cinnamon helps lower blood sugar naturally and it just tastes wonderful.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is a wonderful supplement that is a natural superfood that is widely recognized as being a miracle supplement that helps lower blood sugar. I generally added about a cup of water with some Splenda to make it a bit more bearable to drink. You want the good Braggs vinegar that as the mother with it. The mother is the good stuff that helps your gut bacteria.
3. Carnivore Diet
I have grown to love this diet, and it is my favorite diet as it is low carbs to no carbs and is very low impact on the glycemic index. Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson helped me with this diet as some people have such great food aversions that they can't eat anything, but meat. Look at history and the cave men that used to hunt for a living for their food. They ate meat for the grand majority of the time and they were muscular and were fit.
4. Milk Thistle
Milk thistle is one of those supplements that was a miracle that helped my blood sugar drop really quickly. It has helped countless people to lower their blood sugar and make it out of the diabetic range. This is a must for diabetic patients.
5. Drink Water
Drinking water helps your body work more efficiently. When your body is more efficient, it helps lower blood sugar because your body doesn't have to work so hard to burn sugar.
6. Walking
I went on a thirty minute walk, once a day, for three times per week to help my body burn off every form of sugar in my body. If you can manage a brisk walk, then it burns more sugar out of your body. You really want to do this to help with blood sugar.
7. Get More Sleep
I used magnesium to sleep better and get more and better quality of sleep. By getting sleep, you lower your cortisol levels and your blood sugar will come down when this happens. Take a rest and make sure you're sleeping at least seven hours per day.

Capsaicin, Weight Loss WONDER?
Have you ever eaten something spicy and then had heartburn afterwards? This is because the capsaicin that is found in peppers helps boost metabolism, curbs appetite and help your body burn fat. If you get Greek yogurt it’s all the better on the diet. While I definitely don’t eat the Tabasco green hot sauce and yogurt together, I eat them in the same day. My body has felt more energetic and I have kept losing weight and maintaining the weight loss.
3. How much capsaicin should I eat?
I splash my green Tabasco hot sauce quite a few times in my two-three cups of mashed potatoes. 2.6 mg of capsaicin every 36-144 hours can help you CURB THE WEIGHT LOSS PLATEAU. I use about 1/4 of the bottle of Tabasco in my potatoes every day and it has been greatly boosting my weight loss naturally.
4. How much yogurt should I eat?
This one is personal preference although I shoot for around 1-3 cups of yogurt in a day. I eat the smooth strawberry Yoplait yogurt for a dessert and it’s addictive in flavor. Greek yogurt is a great lower sugar alternative for dieting and weight loss. Yogurt probiotic is great for gut biome support.

Keto Diet, the Best Weight Loss Diet?
There has been a lot of speculation about the Keto Diet and if it’s the best diet for weight loss. I think that it’s been up in the rankings due to the fact that a lot of obese people find benefits to the Keto Diet. I would love to discuss with you today on a few reasons why I think that the Keto Diet is the best diet to do when you need to lose weight.
1. Ketones Help Burn Fat
Ketones are a great way to burn fat and it is in fact one of the best and most efficient ways of burning fat. All you have to do is get your body into ketosis. Ketosis is when your body Burns the fat for energy instead of sugar that is found in the body.
2. Fat Burns Just About 24/7
There are small windows where less fat is burned in your day because when you break the fast (breakfast), or you eat to big of a lunch or dinner you can break your ketosis, and fat burn can come to a very slow burn.
3. Eating is Relatively Easy
Eating is relatively easy once you get the hang of it. It’s essentially 1/3 of your Keto Diet being fats and fatty foods, 1/3 of your Keto Diet being protein foods, and 1/3 of your Keto Diet being fiber rich foods that are little to no sugar. The thought about quitting seems to come up a lot because we find it hard to do the things that are essential for weight loss and keeping on track with our diet. Gorging Green Diet...the Cleanest Diet Yet?
1. Greener is Cleaner
Greener is definitely cleaner and is not just better for the environment. Your body will have a new vibe when you begin to eat greener and cleaner. Spinach, lettuce, celery, Swiss chard, kale, and broccoli are just a few of the great super-foods and veggies that you can eat with this diet. Gorging yourself on green veggies will give you the essential vitamins and minerals that you body needs to run cleaner.

2. Calorie Counting Gone
Can there really be a diet that gets rid of calorie counting? This will be the second diet that we have created that utilizes watching what you eat instead of counting calories. There are also very few calories in fruits and veggies that are green. The reason that we want the calorie counting to be a thing of the past is that we want this diet to be easy enough for anyone to do. This makes fat burn and weight loss all the easier.
3. The Green of the Diet
The green aspect to the diet is what we want to utilize. By eating green fruits and veggies you will lose more weight quicker. I find that salads, soups, and smoothies that are green with veggies are some of the best ways to enjoy the green of the diet. Salads are probably my favorite when it comes to clean eating. The conundrum that we come against is the fact that putting gobs of dressing on your salad kills the purpose of green eating and the diet. Everything in moderation.

4. The Workout
The workout that I want to incorporate in this diet is very simple. I want you to walk. That is the simplest way of burning the most fat. Jogging or running is great, but your body gets into shape too quick and then doesn't burn enough fat to make a difference. Walking allows for the body to burn larger amounts of calories for the same length of workout than a heavy workout.
5. Share It!
The last element to this diet is to share it! Get the word out there that there is a new diet in the world that anyone and everyone can do. Don't whine that its too hard, don't complain that you can't do it, don't make excuses, don't envy those that have done it before you, don't become jealous of those people that have lost weight and have a six pack, don't get caught up in all the hype, don't even worry about the latest fads and celebrities that are doing their thing, just do it. JUST DO IT! If you want it, just go and do it.
Do something that the world has NEVER seen before to advance your passion, think thoughts that have never be thought before, expand the good ideas of the current status, and never ever stop until you have achieved those goals that you have set and those dreams that you have dreamed. The mind is the single greatest weapon for your weight loss. Start thinking like a champion! Start thinking like a successful person! Once you focus on WHAT you're doing, and focus on just doing it, you can lose weight, lose fat, get a six pack, or do WHATEVER you want to do! My inspirational speaker, Eric Thomas, has said in several speeches that he has given this one phrase. Here is what he has said, "You will NEVER be successful until you want IT as bad as you want want to breathe!"

ETL Diet Re-vamped!
Have you ever thought about the diet that you execute every day. Diet does not necessarily mean, "weight loss" automatically. Have you ever heard of the phrase, "So-and-so's diet needs a healthy dose of whatever?" There are healthy diets and there are unhealthy diets. I would like to teach you guys and gals about a diet that is revolutionizing the way you will think about diets. WHY??? Because it is way different than the rest of the diets on the market today.
So, I was sitting down and thinking one day. I was thinking about what all the diets have in common. All of the diets have one thing in common, it is that diets are normally keeping track of calories or keeping track of stuff. It is a pain to keep track of stuff and I was sick of it. There is a benefit to keeping track of stuff, but I felt that keeping track of stuff was pointless and a waste of time and energy. I have come up with a diet that only keeps track of what you eat, not the calories, not the fat, just the substance of what you eat. There is no writing down anything, just thinking and a little bit of common sense. We want to see and realize what it is that we are eating. Let's get started!
ETL Diet
The ETL Diet stands for the Easier Than Life Diet. This diet is easier than life, quite literally! The thing that makes it easy is that anyone can do it and it is completely re-writing the diet and weight loss industry as we speak. The thing that the weight loss industry doesn't want you to know is that you actually have a good chance of GAINING weight on their diet program rather than LOSING weight. Why is that? It is for the sheer fact that people don't want to keep track of EVERYTHING they eat, why they eat it and when they eat it. They don't want to do the point trackers, journals, shakes, jump through the hoops and other malarkey, tricks, and shenanigans to try to lose a small amount of weight. It is very expensive and time consuming to lose weight. Not on the ETL diet!
1. What Goes in Must Come Out
What goes in must come out. When you eat junk food, you are going to find that you don't feel good. Why do you think you feel bad when you eat McDonalds or other fast foods? It is because you eat GMO foods and straight hormones and chemicals. FAST FOOD COMPANIES DON'T WANT YOU TO DO RESEARCH TO SEE HOW BAD THEIR FOOD IS!!! They would go out of business if everyone knew how bad their food REALLY was.
On the flip side of the coin, when you eat what is good for you, then you will feel better and feel good. Your body will naturally feel better when you begin to eat better. When you eat fruits and vegetables, your body consumes what we would like to call, "healthy fuels." These healthy fuels convert to feeling better. Fresh fruits and vegetables have myriads of good vitamins and minerals in them. I also find that if you can add a supplement such as omega 3 fish oils, vitamin C, or gingko biloba, or panax ginseng, you can help add energy and efficiency to your body and can help you feel better. (Always consult your doctor before adding supplements to your diet!)
2. Watch What You Eat
All you have to watch with the ETL Diet is what you eat. As with the first point, all you have to do is eat better. If what you are planning on eating is not good for you, then you don't eat it. There is no keeping track of calories, carbs, or little meaningless things like that. All you have to do is make common sense decisions on eating good food, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, and stay away from sugar, candy, and soda. It is that easy!
Good food (fruits and vegetables) + Common Sense (thinking about what is good for you) = something you should eat
So many times we eat whatever tastes good to us, and our body naturally craves what is bad. The reason being is that our bodies have grown accustomed to eating the junk and that's what it accepts as good food or food that it wants to eat. Don't follow your tongue! Your tongue doesn't have the brains to know that food is bad for you. You have to use your brain and think about what is good and bad.
3. Think DifferentlyThere is a powerful tool that my pediatrician told me to use and he would suggest you using it as well. There is power in thinking differently. "Think of bad food as poison. This will allow your body to see bad food and the effects that it has on your body better," is what he told me. Think of bad food and drink as poison! If you know that it is going to be toxic to your body, then don't even put it in your body!
4. Exercise
Exercising with the ETL Diet is this easy. All you have to do is exercise for 5 days a week at an 1 hour a day. With this diet you do cardio exercises, aerobics, weight lifting, martial arts, or bodybuilding. You may choose from these choices. Running falls under aerobics and is considered the best by most beginning dieters. Running at 4+ MPH is the best to start with. 5 days of exercise a week for 1 hour a day is easy. You get two days off and it makes it Easier Than Life. If you want to exercise for more hours on one of the days to compensate for other days in the week, you can do that too.

We are trying to go viral and we may write a book laying out our diet if we can get enough people to get on board. I have the book written but we need help in getting the word out there! I have lost weight in doing this. I went from 225 LB. to 180 LB. in a few short months. It was that easy. There was no hassles of starving, no keeping track of stuff, no nothing. I know what it is like to do the point trackers, the shakes, the junk and spending too much money and time on it. All you have to do is think about what you eat, exercise, and live your life!
We have come to the the midway point in the year and I want to encourage you to keep your New Year's resolutions! I urge you to keep going and lose that weight. As we are trying to finish up May, I am challenging you guys and gals to beat those fitness, weight loss, weight lifting, and bodybuilding goals to get to that beach body you deserve! You can do it!

Drink Calories, Diet Killer
The reason that drinking sugary drinks that have a lot of calories is that sugar converts directly to fat. Eating or drinking fat doesn't make you fat or overweight, eating or drinking sugary foods and drinks make you fat and overweight. Here is the evidence from Harvard University, "Two out of three adults and one out of three children in the United States are overweight or obese, and the nation spends an estimated $190 billion a year treating obesity-related health conditions. Rising consumption of sugary drinks has been a major contributor to the obesity epidemic. A typical 20-ounce soda contains 15 to 18 teaspoons of sugar and upwards of 240 calories. A 64-ounce fountain cola drink could have up to 700 calories. People who drink this “liquid candy” do not feel as full as if they had eaten the same calories from solid food and do not compensate by eating less."
3. What Can I Drink?
Water, drink just plain water! There are 0 calories, 0 grams of sugar, 0 fat, 0 everything! There are so many health benefits to drinking water, many of these include the facts that water is the key to life in the body and it promotes a healthier life. TIME magazine mentioned a study done that encapsulated this fact by asking 84 people to take part in the study for 12 weeks and they said this about the results, "The group that loaded up on water lost about three more pounds than the group that didn’t up their water intake. And the more they drank, the better the results; people who drank 16 ounces before every meal lost about 4.3 kg, or 9 pounds, over the course of the experiment. “That’s about what you get from going to Weight Watchers for 12 weeks,” Daley says. “That’s a real success.”"
To wrap things up, we can gain so many more benefits from drinking water and watching what we drink as well. Cutting these calories and filling up on water before meals can cause us to eat less without even trying. Why do we not utilize this trick more often? Eating whole eggs is often thought to be a great increase in cholesterol due to the fat that is found in the egg yolk. Recent studies have shown this to be untrue and a false assumption. They are high in protein and high in vitamins. Eat a couple with breakfast to give your fat burn a boost.
3. Leafy Greens
Leafy greens such as kale, lettuce, Swiss chard, and collard greens have many important factors in raising that fat burn level in your body. All you have to do is eat a few pieces and then watch the fat burn away!
5. Beans
Beans are an excellent source of protein, they are inexpensive, and they take a long time to digest. The fiber richness of the food allows for longer digesting time, which means it will take more calories to burn the beans off. I eat my beans with ham hocks or by themselves with hot dogs. Burn some fat by firing up your body with beans.
6. Soup
Soup can be a really good food to fire up your body and help it burn that fat for a long time. Most of the time soups are a weighty and heavy food that utilizes fiber, vitamins and minerals, and protein. They can be heavy on the sodium which isn't the best thing, but there are soups like Progresso that are good in sodium and fat.
7. Olive Oil
If you're someone that has been on the Mediterranean diet, you are all too familiar with olive oil. A fact about olive oil is that the Greeks used to drink a cup of it in the morning for breakfast to jump-start their body's digestive system and keep things regular. You don't have to drink it straight, but sprinkle it over a salad, in some whole grain pasta, or have it on some break with a vinaigrette. Olive oil has properties of good fats and minerals that will give you a fat burn.

Stuck in a Rut? Blast Through Your Plateau!
1. Cut Out Sugar
If you already haven't cut out sugar, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that you can help blast through your plateau if you merely cut out sugar. Sugar is what diseases and cancer feeds on. There is little to no good bodily benefits to sugar besides the fact that it gives you a little bit of energy. If you cut out sugar, you are on your way to blasting that plateau.
2. Get Motivated!
One reason why you may be plateauing in your weight loss is because of a lack of motivation. I have found that in my own weight loss, if I wasn't fully committed to doing it, making it work, really cooking good things, and keeping my motivation, I would fall behind and gain weight in my plateau. You need to stay motivated to blast through the plateau! Here is a video to help you guys with motivation!
3. Cut the Calories
Something that I figured out a long time ago when I was working on my weight loss was that you really have to watch how many calories you cut and make sure that you are really cutting calories. You may think that you're cutting calories in one area of the weight loss, but you forget that you are still consuming them by the truckload in other areas of weight loss. Cut those calories.
4. Change Your Workout
Another revelation that I had when I was younger and studying about weight loss was the fact that the body, when you give it enough time, will make itself strong enough to become efficient enough to get through your workout with ease. It was mind blowing! Change your workout and make it harder or get a different kind of workout that utilizes your weaker muscle groups. Blast through that plateau!
5. Visualize
A lot of the time that I spent in weight loss was time that I didn't visualize what I was doing. I thought that I was still fat, still overweight, still obese, and it was a driving force for that huge plateau that weighed me down. Visualize success and visualize a skinnier and more slim and sleek you that you can be proud of. Don't get weighed down on where you are now, visualize where you want to be.
6. Journal EVERYTHING
If you guys remember, I incorporated keeping journal into our weight loss steps at the founding of this blog. Writing down everything that you eat, lick, or taste can be a great way to see exactly what you are eating. It helps us know what we are eating, how much of it, when we eat it, and it allows us to adjust our weight loss program and how we do things accordingly.
7. Eat More Fiber
This is a rut that I found myself in when I looked at my weight loss. I wasn't eating enough fiber and I had a lot of food just sitting in my stomach that was seeming to rot. I wasn't passing my food quick enough because I wasn't eating enough fiber, and this was allowing my body to consume and put on more of the fat and weight from my food. Eating more fiber allows your body to get rid of impurities.
8. Overeating
A lot of the time, when we go to restaurants, they give us gigantic amounts of food. We think that we have to eat all of this food, when in fact, we don't! Put half of your meal into a box or doggy bag and save it for later. Overeating can happen at home as well. When you are at home all the time, you're around food, and your body feels like it wants to eat all of the time. Get out of this rut and blast through that plateau.
You guys can and will conquer your plateau. I believe that you guys can get out of this rut and blast through your plateau. I would suggest implementing these tips on how to get out of your plateau. When you let your plateau go to long, it becomes harder to get out of it later on. The longer you wait on getting out the worse off you are. Weight loss is a hard venture that takes strength and energy to get through. You can do it!

Vaccinations, the Shot of Health
1. Vaccines Save Lives
I would like to write for a moment for the skeptic in us all. I know a lot of people are thinking, "you get the disease that you're trying to prevent when you get a shot." I would like to say that there is a slight possibility of getting the disease. There is also a slight possibility that you die while driving in your car to or from wherever you're going. There is a greater possibility of preventing a disease and eradicating it than there is of catching something from a shot. It's illogical to think that you're going to die from getting a flu shot. Granted, there are some people on the rarest of occasions that have died, but a really high percentage keep people from getting sick, and they save lives!
2. Safe
There is not enough of the mercury that is in the contents to make a difference. On top of that the germs that are being put into your body is not enough to make you sick. Most vaccinations are done in steps and your body is monitored to see how your body reacts to the vaccine. By getting a flu shot, you lower the percentages that the immediate people around you will get diseases as well. It is safe for your body and the people around you as well. By keeping your body (computer) safe from viruses or diseases, you keep your body (the computer) running smoothly and it allows you to continue your weight loss, dieting, and fat loss. Vaccinations build your body's immunity against the disease for future times.
3. Saves Money
This might be one of those heartless points that we are going to go over. The straight and blunt truth is that, when you are healthy, you save money from not having to go to the doctor for being sick. You may have great medical benefits and you may not have to pay that much money, but for a good many people, you can save a pretty penny from just getting the vaccination. Money may not be a struggle for some people, but for the middle class, a vaccine could mean saving hundreds of dollars.
4. Major Diseases Eradicated
There were major diseases that was taking our world by storm. The main ones were smallpox and polio. Smallpox was a virus that was extremely contagious and the disease left permanent scars on your body, and was deadly for most of the people that caught it. There was no turning back once you got it. It was like getting the Ebola virus. Polio is an infectious viral disease that attacks your nervous system and causes temporary and permanent paralysis. The Polio virus is preventable if you get a vaccine shot at a young age. The Polio virus was not fully eradicated, but it is very nearly eradicated. Several diabolical diseases have been eradicated because individual people got vaccinated.
5. Vaccines, the Shot of Health
Vaccines could be the one thing that keeps your body healthy enough to work out and lose weight. I wasted a whole month being sick from the cold and the flu. I implore you to get your vaccination shots, if not for your own health, for the health of those people around you. The measles have been going around this year among children. This can be an epidemic that can not be contained, or you can get your child vaccinated and stop the epidemic. Weight loss, dieting, and fat loss to destroy obesity relies on your nervous system and body being healthy. We come to a crossroads and we try to weigh out the PROS and CONS for vaccination. The PROS are vastly more numerous than the CONS. Get your shot of health, get your vaccination!
Vaccination and being immunized is a huge debate that is going on in our world. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments about this subject in the comment box below. I think that vaccinations are harmless and can do so much good, but people stress too much on the smallest numbers. We see the numbers of the rarest cases that get the disease and we say, "Well, what's to stop me from getting that too?" We Are in All Out War!
1. Realize that You have a Problem!A lot of us have excessive amounts of fat and weight and we are obese. We need to accept that we are overweight, obese, and that we have too much fat. The first step in beating addiction is to admit you have a problem. In our case, we are going to beat the addiction of eating and of food. This is the first step in our all out war.
2. Break the Habit
The second step is to break the habit. We have bad habits that need to be broken. It is like the opposing forces have planted bombs (bad habits) inside of our bodies through psychological warfare. The junk food and fast food industry has infiltrated our lines and have instilled bad habits. It takes 20 times of doing something to create a good habit.
3. Don't Settle for Garbage
The third step is to stop settling for garbage. What I mean by this is to stop thinking that there is no food in the house. The apple in the drawer or banana in the cabinet is perfect for you to eat. So often we skip over the good foods and go for the garbage. Stop settling for fast food because its fast, stop settling for junk food because its cheap, and stop eating foods that poison you.
4. GET UP!
When a soldier is called to duty, he doesn't just sit there, he gets up, he trains, and then he conquers! Get up off of your rear end and get going on your exercising to change your body and lose weight. Become the soldier in the Battle of Obesity that you were intended to become ever since you started making bad choices. Go out and do good!
5. Use Common Sense
Use common sense in your dieting, weight loss, how you eat, what you eat, and when you eat it. Stop being stupid and pitiful. Eat good things, be smart, and use some common sense. In an all out war, we find ourselves all taking part. If you don't do your part, then you will give your children and their children nothing but death by obesity to look forward to.
I'm sorry to say this, but we find ourselves close to the fire. The war is in our homes, in our cabinets, in our fridges, in our pantries, in our freezers, it is in our hearts, and is casting shadows off of our bodies like a miniature mountain. 5 Reasons We Failed to Lose Weight in 2014
1. We Didn't Eating Appropriately
The first reason that we didn't lose weight is because we didn't appropriately to our weight loss program or diet. We ate whatever we wanted and we sit there and say, "I didn't lose weight!" When you eat white breads instead of wheat, you pack on weight whether you eat less or not. These are the facts. We didn't eat properly.
2. We Retained Too Much Water
I think that we normally think of weight that we lose as muffin top, jiggling, and bulging fat. This is not the only form of weight that we lose. Drinking water is essential for weight loss and dieting, but when we eat overly salty foods, it makes our body retain water all the easier. Water weighs a good bit. We eat TV dinners, drink a ton of water, and then it sticks.
3. We Ate Mindlessly
We ate too much food when we were mindless. What do I mean? I mean that we ate when we were bored, not when we were hungry. This is what happens when we stay close to the house after work or school. We get home from school and we immediately sit down and pig out. We don't eat because we're hungry. Mindless eating is empty eating!
4. We Ate Too Much Due to Stress
This is one that we can all relate too. We worry about tests at school or at work, worry about our family or kids, we worry about stuff in our world, the list goes on and on. When we sit down after work and we eat a whole pint of ice cream and then regret it later on, we put ourselves into weight gain overdrive. Stress is the #1 reason that people gain weight instead of losing it.
5. We Didn't Work Out Correctly
There is a right and wrong way to work out? There certainly is! Our last reason that we didn't lose weight in 2014 is that we didn't work out correctly. We either didn't work out enough or we didn't do the right exercises for burn fat and weight. All too often I hear people saying that they are playing sports, but they don't do any cardio.
Altogether, I think that we will be able to fix these 5 reasons that we didn't lose weight in 2014 and we will give you some tips and tools on how to fix these mistakes. Let's not have a repeat year because we were negligent. Let's fix these problems, gain a new mindset, and boost our weight loss this year, and conquer those weight loss goals.
