In case you're prepared to stop your soda addiction for good, I have mapped out a three-week intend to enable you to arrive. Here is a thought to get you motivated to stop. It's uncommon to discover one single dietary change that can affect your waistline as essentially as wiping out soda. That's on the grounds that a 12-ounce container of soda contains around 140 calories. On the off chance that somebody drinks two bottles of normal soda every day and does a change to seltzer or water, that individual will expend more than 102,200 less calories through the span of a year — that is the possibility to lose right around 30 pounds — with only one change.
Dumping soda isn't easy. Since it contains so much sugar, you need to break the sugar dependence that props you up back for additional soda and keeps you coming back for more. Here's the way to get out from under the addiction and get more advantageous in under three weeks.
This is a modular window. The media couldn't be stacked, either on the grounds that the server or system fizzled or on the grounds that the configuration isn't upheld.
Do This Before Getting Started
Take two or three days to recognize these three things:
-What you genuinely adore about pop
-When you normally appreciate it most
-Some unsweetened beverages that you truly appreciate
This is extremely vital. Do you drink soda as a stimulating beverage rather than espresso? Do you cherish how a sweet soda tastes rather than an exquisite dinner? Is everything about the fizzy air pockets? Completes an evening, soda brings you through the 3 p.m. droop? Making sense of this will enable you to discover sensible substitutions and sound options.
Week 1: Reduce Frequency
Click Here to join us for the 2 Week Diet!
Weaning yourself off soda steadily may enable you to succeed. Begin by diminishing the quantity of servings you have every day. If you're an a few can-a-day soda consumer, bring that down to one can a day. In the event that you have one can a day, drink a can each other day. I recommend keeping a diary to screen how you're feeling, particularly on the off chance that you regularly drink a caffeine-containing pop. Cerebral pains are normal when decreasing caffeine utilization.
Week 2: Retrain Your Taste Buds
In the second week, you'll be down to one serving for every day or each other day. Weaken that presenting with plain seltzer. This will influence you to feel like you're drinking soda however will help your taste buds adjust and figure out how to appreciate refreshments that aren't as sweet.
Week 3: Stop Drinking Soda
Arrangement is key this week for your success. Stock your home and office with your most loved unsweetened beverages. In case you're somebody who more often than not appreciates a soda with your dinner, make certain your suppers contain a blend of sweet and appetizing flavors that will fulfill your want for differentiating flavors. For instance, top your serving of mixed greens with dried organic product or add diced cut apple to your turkey sandwich.
Here are some drink thoughts that aren't plain water. Regardless of whether you're searching for an air pocket fix or a remark your sweet tooth, these more beneficial decisions will help make the change far from soda additionally energizing:
-Infused water: Orange or grapefruit cuts in your water are invigorating, yet shouldn't something be said about strawberries and mint, or rosemary and lemon. Putting foods grown from the ground in your water will give you the flavor kick you crave.
-Seasoned seltzer water: My most loved brand is Polar on the grounds that they have the greatest assortment of flavors and as I would see it, the most grounded flavors."
-Kombucha: It's marginally carbonated on account of the aging procedure, so it will fulfill that bubbly desiring
-Club soda or plain seltzer with a sprinkle of 100 percent juice and a lemon or lime
-Frosted home grown tea: There are some fun, tasty natural teas available. Two of the sweetest (yet unsweetened) and most delicious teas I've found are Celestial Seasonings Zinger line of natural teas. Their Sangria Zinger (made frosted!) tastes simply like fruit punch.
-Espresso, dark, chai, or green tea: These are extraordinary in case you're feeling the loss of the caffeine kick from your soda!
I do hope that you can kick the soda habit and save yourself a world of hurt when it comes to losing weight. You can lose 30 pounds by not drinking soda. If you can kick the habit you can lose the weight, and that's a fact! Join us next time and please comment and share this post if you found it insightful. If you have other suggestions please comment, we would love to hear your opinion!

Iced Tea, Best Alternative to Soda
If you are like me, you really like soda. The fizz just makes your taste buds dance, the sugar makes your mouth happy, but you give up an astronomical amount of calories in just one can of soda. Very few of us really like to drink just water as it can taste very plain. We like our fluids that we drink to have a little bit of taste, a little bit of POP. I have often had a belly that I can't quite shake, just because I drink soda instead of water or iced tea. I checked on the calories in iced tea as opposed to soda, and there is no comparison on which one is better. If you drink a glass of iced tea with a little bit of sugar, it is normally under 30 calories. A can of soda averages about 140 calories. This is just one of many good effects of iced tea.
1. Iced Tea Keeps You Feeling Full
Iced tea is really good for weight loss because it is a fraction of the calories of a soda. Iced tea also keeps you feeling full without all of the calories. If you drink a glass of iced tea in between meals or before a big meal it will help to curb those hunger pangs. I usually drink it in the morning to get my metabolism going. Adding lemon or lime to your iced tea can give it a nice acidic twist.
2. Stabilizes Your Blood Glucose Levels
Unsweetened Iced tea is also good for stabilizing your blood glucose levels. Iced tea helps regulate the fluctuation of glucose levels. If you are a diabetic that is trying to lose weight then unsweetened iced tea is great for you. Green tea is typically sweeter than black tea and green tea is directly in conjunction with weight loss.
3. Natural Caffeine
Black and green iced teas have natural caffeine that helps boost body energy levels. This caffeine is not artificial, but it is good to drink in moderation and keep the caffeine to a low. Caffeine is used in sports to give you muscle endurance. Caffeine in soda is added, artificial, and is consumed in dangerously high amounts. Caffeine in iced tea gives you just enough natural caffeine to keep going.
4. Half Iced Tea, Half Lemonade
The half iced tea and half lemonade is one of my favorite options, especially when losing weight. It seems easier to cut your gut when you just switch from soda to iced tea. Iced tea is a great supplement to transition to water from soda. The Arnold Palmer as it is famously called is my favorite beverage, at least the ones that are non-alcoholic. Add a little bit of sugar or honey and it really hits the spot!
5. Iced Tea Not Like Water
Iced tea is not like water and will not hydrate you like water. The misconception that many people have is that iced tea will hydrate their body like water does. This is simply not true! You need to drink as much water as you do iced tea. There are little crystals that will turn into kidney stones if you don't moderate the iced and the water. Iced tea may have antioxidants, but the hydration properties that water has is just not there. Much like soda, iced tea has water IN it, but it is not water.
6. Drink Tea, Consume More Water
Drinking iced tea makes your body make saliva and makes your body create amino acids. This, in turn, makes your body want to drink water. Drinking water will make your body feel more full while eating less. Drinking water will flush your urinary tract and kidneys to get rid of the mineral residue that is natural. Iced tea can flush some nasty garbage from your body that you may not have even known was there. Water can restore the good properties that sometimes get flushed when diuretic iced tea is consumed.
These effects of iced tea make it a considerably better option instead of soda. Drink iced tea to get a little bit of taste while staying full. Drink it in moderation with water to begin feeling better and work your way into drinking all water. Iced tea is famously starred in the Duck Dynasty show with Uncle Si Robertson. Take a swig, kick back, and relax. You can drink up to four times as much tea as soda and it is still really good for you, iced tea that is!

How Do You Break the Soda Addiction?
Have you ever just had a huge drink of fizzy, sugary, syrupy soda and it burns the back of your throat...and then you feel it in your stomach that is hanging over your pants? Have you ever been in that predicament? If you have, you definitely know what it feels like to feel uncomfortably bloated, have your stomach churning and sloshing, have a big soda gut hanging over your pants, and just feel bad. If you are like me, you have felt some of these things. I had to do something. If I didn't I knew I would have a soda gut for a long time to come. I was in deep trouble. If you are too, then join me to break your soda addiction as I have broken mine!
1. Perspective
You have to look at soda as poison. Change your perspective. Did you know that sodas have several different chemicals in them that are used for cleaning, de-oxidizing, that there is enough syrup to choke a horse, sugar enough to send your body into shock, and enough acid to acid wash your favorite pair of jeans? Soda is just a poison that is putting so many toxins into your body.
2. Alternatives
Drink alternatives like there is no tomorrow! The only two alternatives that I have found for soda is iced tea lemonade and water. Drinking these two instead of soda will cut your gut and send your body into weight loss overdrive. These alternatives are life savers when it comes to craving soda and something sugary. If you learn to drink water you will find that it really is quite delicious and is phenomenal for you!
3. 19 Days
It takes someone 19 times of not doing it to break a habit. If you can last 19 days with me, I will promise you that you will break your soda habit and your body will detoxify itself to be able to function at a higher level. Your weight loss will be boosted and your body will feel completely different than it did when you were drinking soda. This one is probably the hardest to execute, but its the most rewarding!
I hope that you have enjoyed this blog post. All you have to do to break the habit of drinking soda like water is to follow this really simple guideline. Your body will be rejoicing because you have stopped drinking soda. Believe me when I say that it was no easy task to stop drinking soda. It is literally everywhere and it is pretty inescapable. Sugar is in everything, including soda.
EXTRA (READ THIS IF NOTHING ELSE!)
Try an experiment with me. Pour a glass of soda that you have sitting at home, or buy a cup of soda from McDonald's for a dollar. Next put that cup or glass of soda outside in the heat for a few days. Cover it up or leave the lid on it. After a few days go back to the undisturbed cup or glass of soda and it will virtually be a cup of syrup or really close to it. That is what you're putting in your body! It will be easy to cut soda now!

Diet Soda, is it Really Worse than Regular?
I was sitting here looking at a can of Diet Dr. Pepper that one of my family members had bought. There has been a long debate and it still rages on as to which is worse, diet or regular? I would like to keep the debate going and really give you guys a post to read, and then I would like for you to decide which is worse. You be astounded on which is worse. You may have a hard time figuring out which is worse. Let's look at the facts and see if we can decipher which is worse!
1. Diet Soda...Cancerous
It is true that diet soda is filled with chemicals that are cancerous for your body, but what would you say if I told you that sugar is the fuel by which cancer existed? You would tell me I was crazy! I speak the truth! Sugar weakens the immune system in the body and gives cancer a fuel and foothold, by which it chokes you and kills you.
2. High Fructose Corn Syrup...Killer
You may not have noticed this, but high fructose corn syrup kills many people everyday. HFCS's cause your body to crave those drinks and foods that contain them and you are forced into addiction. HFCS's kill your immune system and liver, cause your insulin to skyrocket, and sometimes contain mercury. Guess which sodas have it...BOTH diet and regular!
3. Sweeteners Trigger Fat Storage
It really doesn't matter which one you drink, both sugar and artificial sweeteners trigger your insulin in your bloodstream and cause your body to go into fat storage mode. If you couple this with the HFCS that is something that makes your body hungry, you get the ultimate fat machine, your body! Both sugar and artificial sweeteners do this.
4. Increased Risk of Diabetes
Diabetes may not sound like its all that bad, but you can ask anyone that has it and they would gladly trade soda to get rid of it. Diet soda has been linked to giving a person upwards of 30% greater risk of getting diabetes. Regular soda is right there with sugar to help you get there the same way, just in case you're interested.
5. No Nutritional Value
Have you ever noticed that soda has absolutely no nutritional value whatsoever? Some sodas have natural fruit juice, but it consists of 5% of the soda or less. This is not enough to even mention. Soda is so ridden with sugar or artificial sweeteners and sodium that we find no nutritional value in it.
6. Sodium
You may not have noticed, but there is sodium or salt in your soda, whether you drink regular or diet. Sodium is something that our body needs some of, but we find it in excess amounts in our body that causes everything to be thrown off kilter. Salt is linked to high blood pressure and is known for overworking kidneys.
7. Alternatives?
There is only one alternative that I would suggest drinking that would be worth your time and your money. That alternative is water, just plain old water. You can get it from the tap or you can get it in an assortment of minerals or not in bottles. Iced tea and lemonade that is all natural is something else you can try. Both are better than soda.
Which one is better for you? Diet? Regular? Neither? I hope that I have provoked a lot of thought processes in your mind and hopefully you can appreciate the situation that we face everyday. If you can't answer which is better or if either of them have any good value, then it might behoove you to stop drinking them. Please, go to the comment box below and give your reasons that you drink diet or regular soda and tell us which one is better. Share these tips with family and friends! Thank you! The Secret of Diet Soda!
For years you drank diet soda thinking that you were doing yourself a favor, when in fact, it is thought that diet soda is just as bad as regular soda.
We are going to go through some facts about diet soda and we will see if diet soda will remain the better of the two.
The controversy stops here!
1. Bad For Diabetics
The natural sweetener aspartame worsens the effects that diabetes has on the body.
It causes insulin control problems and therefore causes the diabetic to want to eat more and gain weight.
2. Both Diet and Regular Sodas Deprive Bone Density
Both diet and regular sodas deprive the body of it's bone density because of the acid in each of the sodas. So, no matter if you drink diet or non-diet soda, it doesn't matter.
3. Caffeine The Same
Caffeine is the same in both diet and regular soda the majority of the time.
Again, it doesn't matter whether you drink diet or not, the side effects are still the same.
4. Diet, Less Sugar Less Calories
Diet soda has less sugar and less calories overall. This is a good thing, but doesn't do much in the way of it being better for you. Sure, you do consume less calories allowing you to drink more and eat more calories, but is it worth it?
5. Diet Soda = Dehydration
Diet soda in a diuretic. Which means that the sweeteners cause the person consuming it to have to go to the restroom more frequently. That, along with the caffeine deprive your body from the water it needs.
6. Diet Causes Cell Damage
The consumer opens themselves up to having an increase in chances for disease. The sodium benzoate, a preservative, works together with vitamin c to produce a carcinogenic called benzene. Studies have shown that the sodium benzoate may damage the mitochondria found in your DNA cells causing your cells to sometimes malfunction, giving you risk for Parkinson's, cirrhosis of the liver, or neuro-degenerative diseases.
Now that we have looked at the effects of diet soda on the body, we can come to the conclusion that it, along with regular soda is bad for the body!
So, what do I drink then?
There are natural fruit juices that are tasty, or if you want that fizzy bubbly taste, you can drink sparkling water.
Steer clear from both types of soda!
You and your diet will be better for it.
